Donna Lexa Memorial Art Fair
The 12th Annual Donna Lexa Memorial Art Fair will be held on August 16, 2008. This is a juried fair committed to excellence in fine arts and fine crafts. The Fair will be held along the Glacial Drumlin bike trail in the charming little village of Wales, just south of I-94 on Hwy. 83 and within easy driving distance of Madison, Milwaukee and beyond.
Although Donna Lexa was killed in a car accident in 1996, she remains an inspiration to many. Through her Community Arts Center, Inc. of Waukesha, her caring and creativity helped disabled people communicate through art. Her boundless enthusiasm and can-do attitude animated the congregation of her church, Jerusalem Presbyterian. Her warmth vitalized her loving family. This art fair is one of many tributes to an undying spirit. Proceeds from this art fair benefit local area non-profit organizations.
